Nothings sweeter than summertime........

Summer is in full swing at our house!We have been so busy.Everyday has been fun,we have spent a lot of time swimming usually at their grandma'a house or the lake in her neighborhood,which I think they loved the most!They've had friends over almost everyday and today we are going swimming at the Tunica Aquatic Center.I've never been but Eli has and he's beyond excited to go today!We plan on visiting the zoo again tomarrow,I have a zoo membership so I would like to go as much as possible without the kids getting bored with it,we still have lots planned for the summer,which is quickly coming to an end:(School starts in about 3 weeks,and we will be busy with other things,homework,piano lessons maybe cheer for Ava.She hasn't decided yet and I'm not pushing her to do it.I've got lots of organizing to do around the house before school starts,I better get started.I hope to do that next week but you never know what will come up!My garden is not doing very good,I'm not sure why,I may have too much sun or bad soil,but its definatly been a learning experience.
The kids played in the waterhose in the driveway yesterday and I loved watching them so much,it was such a simple thing and it reminded me of being a kid,they had so much fun.Its those simple things that make you so happy sometimes,if I do anything as a mother I want my kids to look back on their childhood with happy memories,I'm not a perfect mother but I want them to have the best childhood I can give them,I know I'm fully responsible for them and this time in their life will shape who they are as adults,I do not want to fail at that.Every day is a gift and I'm thankful to God for that!
