Today we celebrated Ava's 7th birthday. She invited a few close friends over for a sleepover. The girls have had a blast, they have done hair, makeup, nails, played dress up, and just ran around and played together:)
They are finally all settled in on the living room rug watching a movie. It's now quiet and all I can think about is how the time has flown by. How can she be 7? It's amazes me how quickly it's going and soon she'll be too big for me to hold in my lap and hug and kiss. I wish I had a pause button.
Today was a great time for her, and I'm so happy for her and glad she got to enjoy her special day the way she wanted!
Also, this is the FIRST year I have not made one of my kids birthday cakes. It was a strange feeling.Ava wanted a Ice Cream cake from Baskin Robbins, just like her Mama gets every year for my birthday;) She loved it so I was happy!
Ava, I want you to know how deeply I love you! You are a true blessing to me and I can't imagine my life without you. You are a great friend, daughter, sister, and child of God! I love you much more than you'll ever know. I pray for you that you will grow up happy, that you will always put God first and that you'll live a life pleasing to Him. I love you sweet girl!
