This week.....

 Evelyn turned 4 months old.......

The time is going so quickly,I know I've said it a thousand times but its true.

I've been reading a lot online about making your own babyfood and what foods are good to start with. Avacado seemed to be at the top of most lists, although our Dr. laughed and said, "all those people that write online are from  California".He told us to start with more traditional foods, like carrots and sweet potatoes.
little sister loved somed avacados

But we did give her some avacado monday, and she seemed to like it ok.She got some of it down.I know that because I changed her diaper last night and it was very different,to say the least;)

Eli was upset because he wanted to be there the first time she had real food,so today I'm waiting for him to get home.

Evelyn had her 4 month check up yesterday and she did great. The shots were horrible as always, but it was a little easier this time around.
She's almost 15 pounds and in the 90th % on her length.I think she'll be tall like Eli.

Evelyn with Dr. Phillips. He's been our Dr. for 10 years and we love him!
He's so sweet to my babies.

We're going into almost a whole month of school. The kids are getting into their rountine great.Eli's been really good about getting up and ready in the morning so he can catch the bus in the morning, which is really saying a lot because last year it was like pulling teeth to get him out the door!

Ava is riding the bus home in the afternoons but still wants me to take her in the mornings, some mornings its hard and a little inconvenient, but I know the day will come very soon that she will not want me there,so as long as she does, I'm here. I'm always here.

Evelyn and I are usually at the bus stop everyday after school waiting for her,Evie looks foward to our walk everyday:)
If we can't make it down,my neighbor is always there to walk Ava up with her kids.

                                         cute little shrooms....or smurf houses

The new favorite thing to do now is building forts, anywhere and everywhere the is a fort being contructed. They love it,and although it makes a huge mess.I let them go crazy with it.Who didn't build forts as a kid? Its so much fun an they love it.

I spy a little blonde head popping out from behind the chair:)
