There is just no way around it. I am truly thankful that I have the days home with Evelyn to get my head straight, and a lot of days that doesn't even happen. She has decided this week that she is over napping. If she naps its usually right before brother and sister come home from school,so its very short lived,to say the least.
But we are learning new ways to keep baby girl entertained during the day. Thank God for the bouncy seat with music and all. It follows me throught the house,in the bathroom for a shower she sits patiently while I get ready, but usually by the time I'm ready to dry my hair, she's over it!
As I type she's hanging out in it watching me and having a little hand "snack" ;)
I have had a funky week, don't know why,but funky. Just not feeling it,not feeling much at all.Just pure lazy and pure exhausted.I'm trying hard to get back on track.I've fallen behind on so many things.Maybe these cooler temps we are supposed to get this weekend with help me get out of my mood.

Football practice for Eli is in full swing, they are practing twice a week and had a practice game last night. He is having a blast. Absolutley loving it! He's told me recently he wants to play for the NFL:) "Go for it, baby"!! I tell him." You can be whatever you want, just work hard!"I do understand thats aiming high, real high. But its good for him. I've never pushed my kids to do anything,I want to encourage them to do what they love. I do admit though, piano lessons were all my idea, and there are days when they say they don't want to take them anymore,so we will see. I could go on and on about that! I feel like its a gift. Music is a gift. And I'm giving them this awesome gift of learning how to play an instrument, I say they will thank me someday. I hope they do.
We went to practice a few nights ago and got to see Eli play for the first time this year,he's really come out of his shell. He's much more aggresive, and though I don't know squat about football,I will be there at every single game cheering him on!
The girls had fun playing and practicing their cartwheels in the cool grass. What a lovely night.
I adore these girls! They love each other.
What a face!
She didn't last long

So, Ive been working on my pretty much non-exsistent sewing skills. I love it!!Its so much fun and now at this point in my life I feel like I have time to do this. I found some fabric pieces this weekend and worked on making Ava a little apron. I still have to make a strap for her waist, but I love all the colors.
