The Color Run

Several months ago I signed me and Eli up for The Color Run. It looked awesome and like something he and I would love to do, We had talked several times about running a 5k together. So last weekend, it was here. It was time for The Color Run and we were ready! Not as in we had trained everyday ready, but we were so excited to do something just the two of us. Its been far too long.

We got up super early on a saturday morning, grabbed our stuff, shoved down some oatmeal and yogurt and rushed out the door. Traffic was nothing like I expected.We got in and got a great parking spot easy. We even ran into our neighbors and parked almost right next to them. Unfortuanlty ,we had to wait a few hours before the race started because we were so early. Eli was getting anxious.

We had so much fun together. I try to make time for each of them one on one but its not always easy to do. We will defintaly come back next year.We were covered in colors and at the end of the race we all got to throw our colors up the air in a huge crowd of people. That was the BEST! Eli is still talking about it.


After we left the race, we went tp have lunch. It was nice, no interuptions. Just the two of us. I promise to do this more often. Its so worth every minute of it.



I love this boy so much. My first born. My only son.

And, yep! We were dirty:)
