18 month old Evelyn

She turned 18 months old a few weeks ago, wow. That's hard to believe. But in a way, it feels like she's always been here. She completes us. Completely:)

A few things about 18 month old Evelyn.... 

She loves loves loves her Char Char, she does boss him around a lot, her new favorite word is MOVE! But he loves her just as much. So, he tolerates her.

She also loves the word, NO. And she uses it at least a hundred times a day now. I even listened at her door one day when she was waking up from a nap, she was just laying in her bed playing, and saying no, no, NO! She's a funny girl. - she is a daddy's girl, she loves to snuggle up with her daddy. If she ends up in our bed, she goes straight for him. She snuggles herself under the covers right by his side. I know he loves it more than anything:)

She still loves outside and picking green tomatoes, it's November and we still have them. She plays with her baby dolls and has a new found love of crayons and big sissy's room. She sneaks in there any chance she gets.

She loves carrying purses and wearing my high heels, she's actually really good at walking in them. She says so many words now. She repeats almost every word we say, some are clear and some are her own language but she's trying. She plays by herself really well, still doesn't seem to like tv. She would rather pull all the condiments out of the fridge and line them up perfectly.

She brightens everyday, and I can not imagine this life without her. She adores her big bubba and sissy, she says their names really well! She loves to pretend she's as big as them. I love the love between them. 

Before I know it, this little one will be off to preschool, then big school. I'm enjoying this time with her so much. On the hard days, I remind myself of how fast this goes by. It really does. 

So thankful for the past 18 months with her!
