This year we decided to do something a little different than what we normally do for the kids birthday parties,We had Eli invite his closest friends and had a football themed sleep over.It was so much fun!We had a scavenger hunt,which turned out to be a blast,the kids were running all through the house so excited to get to their "treasure" at the end!We divided up into 2 teams because there were so many boys and each team got a balloon,the blue team and the red team.They started out with a clue and each clue lead to a balloon,they had to pop the balloon they found for the next clue,it was SOOOOO much fun!I wanted to join in!:)
At the end of the hunt they each had a gift bag with a football,football cards,football necklace and lots of chocolate!I hung up a big posterboard that said "TOUCHDOWN" with all their bags underneath!
After the hunt we had pizza and rootbeer,a 3 tiered Ole Miss cake(because thats what Eli wanted,and I told him whatever cake you want;)"I made pigs in a blanket for them to snack on through the night.
They played football in the living room,it was too cold and dark outside,so the living room had to do! They played the Wii,and FINALLY went upstairs to the playroom and watched movies and goofed off until about 3 a.m.
Everyone left with a HUGE chunck of cake and I think they all had a really good time!
