What a week!

This has been one crazy week.Thanksgiving was thursday,and I've been unbelieveably sick for a week.Its pretty miserable,I had so many plans during my Thanksgiving break,I did get my tree's up wednesday and by thursday this cold or whatever it is hit me hard!This is a little too much info,but I swear I've lost 5 lbs. in snot alone!I have no idea how there is so much in me:/I've been very hesitant to take any meds at all,I have tried to fight this naturally and suffer through it.My dr. told me I could take musinex d,so I sent Ricky off to get me some,he came back with musinex dm,at that point I was so miserable,I honestly didn't know there was a difference,so a few days later I started looking up meds on the internet(horrible idea!)and I read where musinex dm was not safe during pregnancy,so of course I'm freaking out.I called a pharmasist and she seemed to not really have a lot to say,except she wouldn't take it if she were pregnant.This was saturday night so I had all night and all day sunday to worry,which was aweful!I called my dr. 1st thing monday morning and he assured me that it was ok,there was nothing to worry about so it did ease my mind.I opted for sudafed,just because its been around and been used by pregnant women longer,although its making me feel weird and groggy:(I'm just the biggest cry baby when I'm sick,I hate being sick more than anything!I'm so tired of laying in this bed:(I also read that during pregnancy your immune system is very low and weak,so I have a bad feeling I'll be sick more than once this winter,I hope and pray I'm not!
On a happier note,I've been feeling the baby kick this week.Which has made me feel better with the whole musinex diaster.Its such an amazing experience,to feel that little one inside you move around,I can't wait to meet him or her,I'm just working hard to stay healthy!
