Thanksgiving. Take 2

This has been a great, busy, memory filled weekend.

We got back from my mom and dads saturday night, me and the girls dropped the boys off with our neighbor Mark so they could go to the egg bowl game. Ole Miss vs. Ms. State. The rebels won and the boys were so excited!Eli had a great time, besides freezing!

The kids had so much fun staying at  Nana and BawBaws house, we were all so excited that he was home. I feel so bad for him though. He can't really get off the couch, he does to use the bathroom and go out on the porch for a few minutes. I know its hard for him to just lay there, but if he's going to get better he has to. And thats what we all want more than anything!

We watched Christmas movies, played games, ate food, and more food. We saw family that we hadn't seen in years. Mamaw and Papaw came down to eat Thanksgiving dinner with us. It was so good to be with family.I baked my oatmeal.craisin, white chocolate chip cookies, Anna made green bean casserole and Mama cooked a ton of food. Her dressing is the BEST! Ricky baked a sweet potato pie and pecan pie at home and brought it with us. The food was great and I ate way too much!

Each year seems to go faster than the last, I am trying to hold on to these memories. I always try to remember to takes pictures and write down everything I can. This Thanksgiving I am so thankful for my family, for healthy kids, and for love. We are so blessed. God is good to us in so many ways.

I asked Ava a few nights ago what it is she's thankful for. She told me she was thankful for her freedom, God, BawBaw coming home, her family, shelter and food. Those were her exact words. I could not be anymore proud of her.

Nana and BawBaw's pretty tree. I totally love that Ava is photobombing the picture:)

I love kissing her chubby cheeks

This was the cutest sign. My mom had this written when we got there friday night. Oh, and I have to have this new chalk she used, its awesome!

                                                She loves some banana

                                                                  She just loves food:)

                                                                     OUR FAMILY

Four Generations....

Ava loved Stevie. They are fourth cousins and had so much fun together this weekend. Ava is still talking about how nice Stevie is:)

                                                   potato peeling is serious business

Nana had hot chocolate waiting for the kids in the morning and hot coffee for us, they loved it.

The sunset on our way home was just another reminder to me that God is very present in my life. He is there. I look at the sky and I know that. I feel very close to Him seeing his artwork, knowing that its there for me. It was seriously one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The sky looked like it was on fire. Thank you God for these beautiful reminders of you.......

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
