Spaghetti squash

This is my very first time cooking spaghetti squash. After cutting it open and almost needing a chainsaw I was a little confused and thought maybe I bought the wrong type of squash.  So, I looked up how to cook it. I don't know what I would do without the Internet! you need to bake it for around 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven first.Cut it in half and place open side down on a baking sheet drizzled in olive oil. After its soft enough to stick a knife in easily, pull out all the inside, that's the spaghetti part. I think I should have de-seeded it before I baked it. So, I hollowed out the squash mixed it some tomato sauce that I made a few days earlier. *See recipe below.* and topped with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and fresh mozzarella . Baked again in a 350 oven for another 25 minutes or so until cheese was melted and browning.
I loved it, we will defiantly be cooking with spaghetti squash more often! Hope you all enjoy!

You will need

1 spaghetti squash cut in half
Pinch of Salt
Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Basil
Olive oil
Fresh mozzarella
Tomato sauce

As far as the amounts of seasonings I am completely guessing here. When I cook I never measure I just throw a little in here and there. So just go with it!

For the tomato sauce I used about 10 really ripe tomatoes, peeled and cooked them down, some finely minced garlic,   Salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. I'm still working on this recipe. It's a little runny. I may try thickening it up with cornstarch next time. But it tastes great and was really good on the spaghetti squash. You can also use canned tomato sauce.
