October, Halloween, and Memories.

Today is halloween,
I found this picture of Eli and Ava in 2007. They were so little, I miss the days that Eli lived in this costume. I can hear him running through the house roaring and growling with the scariest voice he could manage. I still have it packed away in my attic, I'll save it forever.
And Ava in her little witch costume, she was the cutest! Her blonde bouncy curls and baby voice. Oh I miss those days. Eli would try to scare her, but she never was. This was a few months before we moved into our house, it was so long ago, but seems like just yesterday!

Dakota, Eli and Ava. Halloween 2007.

I'm really looking foward to trick or treating tonight with my little bunch of monsters. Evelyn will really enjoy it this year! As long as the rain holds off.

As much as I talk about missing those days that have past, I'm really loving the days I have right now. October has been a busy month, Its had many ups and downs. I will choose to see things through positve eyes and trust God to guide me.

We've had a happy October...

Some things I never want to forget.....

Evelyn wearing big sissy's high heels, she's good at walking them. Oh and getting into drawers.

Cinderella's glass slippers. Ava wore these when she was 4, Evelyn is 18 months old. Look at those chubby legs!

                                                           Swinging, and these moccasins.

Spending time in our backyard with her.

And of course green tomatoes.

Baby gates have taken over our home.

Always wanting outside.

Ava has fallen in love with gymnastics. She is constantly practicing. I love seeing her practice so hard. I love watching her.We are starting private lessons in December and she's so excited.

Eating her cereal in the morning. She's just growing so fast!

Sleepovers with old friends.

Painting pumpkins.

Popcorn and halloween movies with friends.

Eli getting to play quarterback after three weeks out from a fractured growth plate.

                                                               Her and this Dora book.

Picking out Pumkins.

 My girls....I love saying that!

                                                              Her sweet heart.

Family traditions. We were so happy Evelyn could enjoy Pumpkin carving this year.

                                                       Ava designing her pumpkin.

                                                                   She liked the seeds!

                                                          My busy 18 month old!

                                                               Eli's Pumpkin.

Hope you all had a wonderful October, now bring on the Christmas music, movies and decorating!!
