4th Of July

We had a pretty busy weekend,it was lots of fun though!Friday night we did a 4th of July parade,which we have done the past 2 years,the kids decorated their bikes and scooters and drove around the square.After the parade we set up our chairs and blankets on the lawn and settled in for a movie.I'm not sure exactly when our city started doing this but we've done it for 2 years,so now its a tradition!:)They played 'Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs' The kids had a blast!Eli did a watermelon eating contest and almost won!He had fun and got to eat lots of watermelon.

Sunday we went to Grandma and Pops and ate ribs and swam and then we headed to Snowen Grove Park and watched an awesome fireworks show!!The kids had so much fun,I love making these special memories with them;)
