Ava's Alice In Wonderland Tea Party

We celebrated Ava's 5th birthday with a Alice In Wonderland inspired tea party.I have been planning this party for months and I think it turned out great!I let Ava pick 10 friends to invite,I wanted her party to be smaller and more intimate this year so we could actually enjoy it!:)
I had ordered Ava a dress about 3 weeks before the party, and when it didn't arrive the day before her party I kinda freaked out!My friend Angel made Ava the most beautful dress for her party! It could not have been better!Ava loved it:)So,the day of her party what do you think comes in the mail?YES!The dress!!I was soooo aggravated!
Aside from that, everything went great!A few months back I found some old china at a yard sale and at the local goodwill. My mom and dad made some amazing decorations for the party, big bright metal flowers to line the side walk, tea cup border, little name signs for the girls chairs, and they brought over chairs for the girls to sit in.
I made a 2 tier topsy turvy cake, red velvet cupcakes, they ate pigs in a blanket, heart shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, strawberries and fruit dip,and cream cheese and ham rolls.I made some raspberry tea, most of the girls didn't like it,so we had reagular sweet tea too! They all looked so cute!
We played musical chairs in the front yard after the tea party listening to Ava's favorite,Taylor Swift:)
After musical chairs Ava opened her gifts, she had so much fun and I think it was a party we will all remember!I can not believe my baby girl is 5 years old!Where has the time gone?
Here are pictures of the party......
