I love our little town:)

Its getting warmer outside and summer is so close I can taste it!I ran my 1st 5K yesterday,it started raining on my way there but ended up being perfect we had a cool breeze and a nice mist almost the whole time,I finished at 32 minutes,which is not as great as the guy that won who ran it at 17 minutes!But I was happy I did it and finished,I'll definatly do it again.Just running through our town yesterday I started thinking how much I really love it here,its still a small town but we have grown in so many ways,I hope we stay small and I know our mayor wants the same thing so I dont think we will ever get to big here.I love that we have so many great family friendly activities going on around here.Yesterday was also the A'fair which is a big crafts fair and everyone around here looks foward to it every year.There are lots of venders with food,art,handmade goods,clothing and so much more!We had a great time yesterday.
Anothere thing we look foward to every year is our 4th of July parade,the kids decorate their bikes and ride around the square then we all settle in with chairs and blankets on the courthouse lawn and watch a movie,I just love that!Where else can you do that,and they do the movies on the square almost all summer long once a week,its great!We have music through the summer on the square,differnt bands come and play some local some more famous.We have great restaraunts and shopping here,I rarely have to go out of town for anything.
Another favorite of mine is our Farmers Market.Its grown so much!We have really grown into a healthy town and people love buying local foods,the Farmers Market is a great place to do that,we have fresh local milk and meat,vegetables,fruit,breads,canned goods and just anything you can think of.So its kind of like our own little Fresh Market or Whole Foods in a way.There are so many things I love about our town I just had to share:)
