Yesterday was Mothers Day and I had every intention of being lazy and unproductive,I think I did pretty good:)I truly had the best Mothers Day ever!My day started with Eli getting up before 6 a.m. to fix me breakfast,I could hear him downstairs in the kitchen rumbling around.He finally comes upstairs and wakes me with a bowl of cereal,with kind of a sad look on his face,when I asked him what was wrong he said he was upset because he really wanted to make me pancakes and he couldn't find the non-stick spray for the pan.I told him he could have used butter and started eating my cereal.He rushed downstairs and I woke Ricky and told him to quickly go help Eli make me some pancakes:)So a few minutes later I was *suprpised* with some of the best pancakes I have ever eaten!With real maple syrup and all,Eli was so proud and so happy to give them to me,he watched me eat every single bite and asked for a few bites himself:)By this time Ava was wondering what she could do for me and with help from daddy she made me a delicious cup of coffee:-)We all snuggled up in the bed and watched Ramona and Beezus,which by the way,was terrific!That time with my family was precious,I will always remember this Mothers Day.
Later,after I finally crawled out of bed Eli joined me for a run,he rode his bike of course,but he kept right up with me,It was a great time together,just him and I.I went and had lunch with my mom and sister,just us 3.It was really nice just being together.I came home and just hung out around the house for the rest of the day,Ricky cooked some amazing steaks out on the grill with salad and baked potato.It was the perfect end to my Mothers Day.
I just want to say how thankful I am for my mother,she has always loved us more than anything and put us 1st in her life,we have always been her top priority,and still now that we are older she does everything and anything for us.She would cut off one of her limbs and sell it if we needed anything!She's a great mom and I'm very thankful for her and love her very much!:)
