A little post

I meant to post this a few days ago, but I just can't seem to find the time......hmm....wonder why :)

We had a few days of beautiful weather and we loved it. The kids played outside and we had windows open. Unfortuantly we also had a pollen invasion. I'll just say my black piano is green now.

Not to self: do not leave windows open when pollen has covered every outside surface availble.

So, I'm having a really hard time accepting that Evelyn's first birthday is just a few weeks away. I just can't wrap my mind around it. This first year with her has flown by. I've been planning her party and it seems very unreal.I'll write more about that later. Oh and she's taking steps now. This day she took 3 on the front porch.I took her outside a few days ago and got some pictures. My tiny girl is growing so fast........

The best toys ever are....
A. tupperware bowl and lid
B. balloon
C. bubbles
My kids would play with these 3 things for hours over any other toy we've ever bought them. seriously.

                                                                    um. that face.

Eli has gotten really into skateboarding. He loves it. He practices everyday and he's really good at it.
p.s. do not look at the nasty garage in the background, I promise its getting cleaned out this weekend!
Promise.

Ava is such a little mama, she is so so good with Evelyn. They have such a special bond and I love seeing them together. Ava tells me she can't wait to have her own baby one day. I tell her she'll be a great mama. And she will.

We were ready for a nap

I texted my sister yesterday and totally freaked/grossed her out. This is her face. I told her I had a child that looked just like her and Ricky. hehe:)

Charlie has been a handful this year with Evelyn and there have been real times that I've considered finding him another home. Some days were hard. He barks at every sound, he's loud and huge and always under our feet.
But he loves her. He loves them all so much and he's so good with Evelyn. He watches out for her and she adores him. She can be a little rough but he never looses his patience with her he just takes it.The ear tugging and all. And I feel so safe with him here. He's a keeper:)

She loved exploring the flowers and the outdoors.

And in her mouth it goes, everything.
Don't worry I got it, she didn't eat the flower....this time anyway.

  2. Found your blog via IG comment left on Heidi Darwish.
Thank you for inspiring me that having kids far apart is OK. I have one daughter who is 3.5 and don't think I want another one until she is much older...maybe school aged.
