Our Week

This week flew by. I feel like it was monday and I woke up to friday. We had some sweet moments this week and I had one of those I'm a horrible mom moments. Eli had an awards ceremony at school this week. He didn't give me the invitation until two days before. I looked at it, I read it, but my brain somehow did not register that it was the same day and time as Evelyn's doctor's appointment, which by the way I have to make at least a month in advance to get in with our doctor. So I pull up at his school that morning, in my pajamas, just to make it even better, and I notice the front of the building bursting with parents and kids dressed in their best. I wanted to cry, to just set there and cry. It was that bad. I felt horrible and actually I still do. He was totally fine, I took it much harder than him.
I took him out for ice cream when he got home that day. I told him how sorry I was and I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm crazy. He didn't seemed phased by it at all.
I forgave myself and I'm not dwelling on it anymore.
I do that. Dwell on things like that forever.
Yeah, I'm annoying like that.
Other than that little mishap we had a week full of fun, some lazy days, some busy days, some I've got it all together days and some I'm losing it days.

Here are some pictures of our week...

She's trying to pull off her bandaid.

                                                  My little monkey,she never stops.

We had some nice weather this week.

She wants up there so bad.

One of the sweetest moments of my week was seeing this. Ava came in from outside upset because she had gotten hurt. Evelyn crawled over to love on her sister. She hugged and kissed her. Oh my heart, it just exploded!

This happens weekly. Ava pulls all the couch cushions off and dances and does cartwheels for hours. She is a ball of energy. This girl can go all day!

Evelyn loves the cushions being off the couch because she can climb up there. Looks like Ava played dress up with her baby sister.

I took the boys to the skatepark this weekend and Eli has not stopped talking about it. He can't wait to go back. They had fun and freaked me out in the process.

enjoying the beautiful weather with my blueberry baby.

                                                            Happy Weekend!
