We are coming up on the end of summer, so we're starting to prepare to fall back into our school day routines. Soon we'll be getting in bed early, we'll be finsihed with sleepovers, and parties. Things will be busy in a different way.
Today, we've been lazy, and I am fully enjoying every minute of it.
Ava's 9th birthday was yesterday, we took her and a friend to Geyser Falls. Its about ba 3 hour drive, we woke up early and got there when they opened and stayed until they closed. It was so much fun! And a birthday I think she'll always remember. I will always remember it.
So, over the last week, we've hosted a backyard movie night, had a smallish, but turned out to be a largish birthday party for Ava and her friends and the water park. Its been a busy week, but some great memeories were made. And thats what I want to remember. The late nights, the twinkle lights on the back porch, the lazy , but busy fun filled exhausting days of summer.
Tonight we'll have a simple dinner, maybe a movie on the couch, it will be a good night.
